New Terrain Essentials book just arrived today!!!

 

So, long overdue, but worth the wait, and will hopefully supply the impetus that I require to get back into making terrain and painting stuff!

The book is 191 pages chock a block full of pictures and words of wisdom. Yeah I have been in this hobby for a few decades and some of this stuff is a basic introduction, but I always need certain lesson repeated and the book does contains more than enough new information.

I have only had a casual glance through the book, but it looks to be clearly written, in plain, well explained terms. Those familiar with his YouTube channel may be disappointed that none of his verbal tics made it into print! His online shows have a certain style, which is always encouraging and inspirational. The book does this too, albiet without the tics.

Also include with this shipment  were these two laminated sheets, highlighting some common terrain colours, with a spot to compare ones mixture. Cute.
