My take on this aspect of the table top gaming experience. Not an expert just one person trying to do what he can & trying to demonstrate that anyone can do it.

Finally finished off two Old Glory resin buildings

These two have been sitting around for a few years, just waiting to be painted. I bought these after our big Vice Alley Pulp Alley campaign. They are solid and heavy and crooked, everything I come to expect from Old Glory resin models. Both have removable roofs, and both have some really nice detail work. However both also have roof issues, specifically, the roofs do not easily match up.

The roof above is too short for the building. To resolve this issue I added some thick card to the bottom of the roof to effectively extend the roof. There is a gap between the roof and the cardboard (look closely) that I may fill in with putty, but it is not a priority. That really is the main issue that I have with this building.

I like how the brickwork came out, a different colour scheme that what I normally try. In this case the building was primed with a rattle can Khaki, then painted with craft paint Burnt umber and dry brushed with craft paint raw umber.

I did this building with a more traditional old brick red, with a dry brush of craft paint  Autumn brown. Now this building had more serious issues, it is not square and the roof is slightly warped. I did my best to fix both issues, but was only so successful. In the end I was able to line up both parts, but the roof retains some warpage. I hope to use a sign to cover up this defect. The window was made from a hard plastic card protector.
