So, prep work has finally started on some required elements for a new PULP alley campaign, China Station. The gunship is by Sarissa with Pulp Figures hardware and figures. The two junks are 3D Russian 'puzzles' that I bought many, many years ago.
At the time, these cardboard junks were the least expensive junk models that I could find (short of making my own). Certain details do make them appear small than 28mm scale but the area of the ships is as large or larger than some 28mm ships. They will need some glue applied to them and some clips, clipped off of them, but I think they will work out fine. I have left off the rigging to better allow the placement and movement of figures.
I also assembled some fighters for the Pacific. These will most likely show up in an Astounding Adventures game that I am also prepping. I had been cleaning up the garage/storage are and stumbled upon these. They a simple toys of roughly 1/48 scale that come prepainted and only require a screw driver to assemble. Again, they are not highly detailed models but will do the job.
Looks very cool, will most of the combat be on land or on ships?
ReplyDeleteMostly on land. One scenario involves a junk, but I will use two side by side to create more space to move around. The gunship and planes are for another pulp game system adventure
