My take on this aspect of the table top gaming experience. Not an expert just one person trying to do what he can & trying to demonstrate that anyone can do it.

Update

Just an update to say that nothing much has happened...yet.

The closest that I have come to painting something, apart from priming, was a quick touch up on a Christmas decoration, it required a little daubing of paint to cover up a very, very small nick.

However I am building and priming like crazy! A lot of All Quiet on the Martian Front stuff, any and all pulp figures that I can find, and soon I will be working on a mess o buildings.

I have been on the verge of painting any number of things but right now now I might just break my painting drought on some AQMF American forces. I have used two different rattle cans to prime them. I really did not want to do the traditional green that most AQMF Americans seem to be painted. Instead I am drawing inspiration from Pershing's Mexican adventure, a more khaki tan colour not so much green colour.

I have based all my humans on a different base than described in the game. I just really do not like the wide bases as they prove to be too awkward, and difficult to place on or in scenery. Also I reduced the number of troops per stand from 5 to 4. This has the extra advantage of giving me more elements and therefore more units, something important to me as I do not wish to buy any more stuff!
